Selma Holo, long-time Director of USC’s Fisher Museum, is a Professor in the Art History Department. She also runs the USC Dornsife International Museum Institute, an exciting think tank for imagining what museums might be in an ideal and real future. Holo is especially proud of Fisher’s history of showing artists from, for example, Los Angeles, Brazil, Israel, France, Spain, and Mexico at strategic points in their careers — and seeing them flourish afterward. Her history of training students for the museum world has produced some of the truly extraordinary curators and educators working today.
