The Fisher is excited to be a part of Trojan Family Weekend activities for another year! We welcome you to visit the museum and enjoy the exhibition and our programming especially designed for parents and students to enjoy together.

Relax and unwind Thursday night at 6pm in the Fisher Museum’s patio with a free movie screening under the stars! Waste Land features internationally renowned artist Vik Muniz and follows his journey back to his home country Brazil, where he visits the world’s largest garbage dump, Jardim Gramacho. Hungry? We got you covered! Enjoy free popcorn and cotton candy during the movie! Bring your own blankets for a truly unforgettable movie experience!

Come back to the Fisher on Friday at 2:30pm for an exciting event organized in collaboration with USC Professor of Journalism, KC Cole! Go beyond boundaries and categories with Categorically Not! Catch featured artist Dianna Cohen and Dr. Pat Levitt, Director of the Neuroscience Graduate Program, discuss plastics and plasticity followed by a “flash” performance by locally based troupe Salty Shakespeare, exploring body plasticity through performance. We’ll have light refreshments and drinks for you to enjoy during the event in our beautiful courtyard.

Want to learn more about our current exhibition, Gyre: The Plastic Ocean? Stop by on Saturday from 12-4, tours available upon request! Don’t forget, we’re also open to the public Thursday and Friday during our regular visiting hours, 12-5pm.

See you all soon and Fight On, Trojans!
